The ROI of Knowledge

When a business owner looks at a range of potential investments, one of the critical measures the owner considers is called Return On Investment (ROI for short).  This is a financial ratio that allows the business owner to compare various investments and determine which one has the fastest payback compared to the amount invested.

When we invest in God’s Word, the ROI is always positive.
Here are a few examples:

“Gold there is, and rubies in abundance, but lips that speak knowledge are a rare jewel.”
(Proverbs 20:15)

“The one who has knowledge uses words with restraint, and whoever has understanding is even-tempered.”
(Proverbs 17:27)

The payback is something far more valuable than money; it’s our character and reputation.

What are you investing in?
